Economech has been a major player in the upsurge of hotel construction over the past 21 years. Projects completed include the Chateau Regency Hotel and two Copthorne Hotels in Christchurch plus the IBIS Novotel and Centra Hotels in Auckland. A further 104 room extension to the Centra Hotel was also undertaken recently.

Systems in the above hotels included central plant and air conditioning to individual rooms, lounges and ancillary services.

Similarly to hotels, a number of apartment blocks have been undertaken, especially within Downtown Auckland. The most notable of recent time are the Quay West Towers and Number One Hobson complexes which incorporate the most up to date facilities available.
